The Enlow Journal of Craniofacial Growth, Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics was a Dr. Donald’s Hugh Enlow’s dream.

Before his passing on 07/05/14, Dr. Enlow donated the copyright of his intellectual work to Lucelma Vilela Pieri (a Brazilian orthodontist, who studied and wrote a book (Craniofacial Growth, Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics – a tribute to Donald Hugh Enlow) with him. Also, she was mentored officially by Dr. Enlow on her postdoctoral research at Bauru Dental School, University of São Paulo). Dr. Pieri is the Dr. Enlow’s legal representative (moral and copyright rights) with the exclusive, free, and perpetual right to use his name in the world. Donald Hugh Enlow and Enlow are trademarks of The Donald Hugh Enlow Center for Human Growth and Development, that was approved in 2015 as both, a university and publishing house in Franca, São Paulo, Brazil. The Enlow was criated by Lucelma Vilela Pieri on November of 2021 for publishing scientific papers (original researches); cases reports; Reviews; Systematic Reviews, Critical Commentaries, Short Communications, Letters, Meeting Reports, etc. Coverage of The Enlow includes normal and abnormal craniofacial growth; Orthodontics (diagnosis; orthodontic treatment (with braces, fixed and/or removable appliances, clear aligners, minimplants, etc); orthodontic materials; etc) and Dentofacial Orthopedics (treatment during craniofacial growth (all types of orthopedic appliances) and after its completion (involving orthognathic surgery)). Also, imaging techniques; extractions, dental agenesis; TMJ disorders; etc.

The Enlow Journal is the official publication of The Donald Hugh Enlow Center Publisher. The double-blind original peer-reviewed articles are published on the internet monthly without any charge for the authors. The publication includes color figures, color photographs, radiographs, tables, and statistical data.
